Hey everybody, Assalamualaikum. :).

Wow. This blog is really dead isn't it? Well no fear! Mizah is here :D.

Hahah! The O levels ended.. No more school :(. I miss you girls. To be honest,I really have no idea what to blog on right now..

Next year, we all are going on our own separate ways, but we are still going to be friends right? Fantastic 26! I will miss our friendship soooo much! I really want to say sorry if my loudness had really affected your studies.. I truly am sorry :(.

If it's not late, I would like to wish all muslims an eid mubarak.

We had syawal celebration in STPRI on the 3rd October 2009. Though we were upset because it's our last raya celebration in STPRI but we really had a great time. a $1 donation is really worth it. :) and Mr. Ravi looked very good with cara melayu I tell you. Mr.J, hope to see you in cara melayu too next year!!! Anyhoo, I just want to let you girls know that the pictures taken using my camera were being uploaded in my facebook. But some of the actual pictures are filtered to limit the facebook album capacity. So if you want the whole album, you can just lend me your pen drive and I'll copy it for you. Kay? And for the record, the F26 girls really looked FANTASTIC during the celebration. And the food was really great too!

Before I end my post, I would like to wish you all good luck for the (really) upcoming O level examination. No matter from which schools. You all will always be in my prayers.

hello people, i bet holiday's going pretty well yeah? some i guess must be doing their revision for the upcoming qualifying exam(i hope). the countdown there do have an effect on me but it didn't put me to revising the books.YET.anyways, enough with that so yeah this is some of the 5B girls birthdays that falls on May and June.

Hudiya turned 16 on the 17th may

Program H.A.P.P.Y (HIV Awarness Programme for Peers and Youth)

Okay.. Prefects were having this program in CR2 room.. For 5B, Aieen(me) and Nadhirah attended this program.. This is the story..

OMG like seriously I thought it was held by Stpri's teachers in fact it was other people and there was a bunch of cute and handsome guys!! The good news is that their age is quite the same as ours!! One of them is a doctor..

Firstly, we were told to discuss "How does HIV spread?" in one group.. Then we did answer it and the last point we wrote in Malay :"Kalau kaca ratak/pacah........(we wrote dot dot) luka :-)" and I was just like, what?? But I admit it that was really fun!!

Second activity, one person was asked to stand infront and answer his question (the lecturer is a guy).. Then the guy said "Kau yang pakai baju hijau" and I looked at my back and there was no one.. Then he said "Kau wah!!" and I said "huh? Aku kah?". He said "awu laa siapa lagi??" Okay..

He asked what should I do in order to prevent myself from HIV? Three options were given (A) Abstain (B) Be faithful (C) Condoms.. So answered (A).. Then this girl(strprians) was asked what if she got a scholarship then went to overseas how to avoid HIV? and she answered (C)!!!! What?? Why not (A) and every single person it the room laughed and The lecturer tried to explain again to the girl and she just undestand what the questions want!!

Third activity, dancing!! so we just dance, have fun and .. yeah we dance, all of us plus the guys..

Fourth, Dr Fazly give us a lecture about HIV and he did show us the male reproductive organ.. eugghhhhh!!!!

Fifth, sad moment.. We were asked to close our eyes and listened to a slow songs.. At first it was okay but when he began to say about what we did wrong and we must ask for forgiveness from our parents, I did hear my friends cry.. and I began to cry also(so emotionals, huh?) Then teachers and women in charge of the the lecture gave us tissues and they said let it go...

Then we sang a song, sad song!! The more I cried actually..

Anyhoo, I just want to say that, I hope we will be more blessed this term (it's not that we were not blessed last term). I hope we had more joy this term. I hope FOR THE BEST :)

To Hudiya, Adila, Amal and Hannani, I'm sorry I requested you girls to sit at the 'hot seat'. You girls know where. But yeah, I really loved to hear about your holidays and I wanted Adila to feel comfortable with us. That's why I dragged you all. Hahaha. Really, there were NO other intentions like to embarrass or to something whatever. Lav yal!

Last but not least, here are some stuff to be noted :

1st thing to be matter is : To those who take the June 'O' level examination, please take the timetable at Exam Room as soon as possible. The orals will be in April. GOODLUCK!

2nd thing to be matter is : There are no practicals tomorrow. This should say that, there's no Physics practical class nor Chemistry practical class.

3rd thing to be matter is : Keep on revising Biology under movement of substances, cells division and reproduction in plants and animals. The test is going to be on the 2nd of April. Do not forget to bring Biology 1st assessment test paper and Holiday Revision Homework, tomorrow.

4th thing to be matter is : Bring 'target-marks paper' for Physics tomorrow.

5th thing to be matter is : Hannani is turning sixteen tomorrow yaw!

1st Term Holiday

HAPPY 1st TERM of SCHOOL HOLIDAY

Wait, am I too late to say that? yeah yeah yeah whatever. Gosh, this blog is so dull *making a sad looking face* Anyhoo, to whoeverreadthisblog, I just want to point out that we all love the privilege that the Senior Reading Room gave us (or should I say our English teacher, Mr.J) for borrowing us the BAD BLOOD books. I mean, who would hearted-ly lend their books while they themselves haven't read it yet. But trust me, I've been reading few chapters of it and I'm loving it.

The cover is so awesome. You can feel the tense by looking to the picture of the eyes and the black mansion. And It's so light that we're able to bring it everywhere. And it's publisher is the 'oxford' thingy which is same as the the Peterpan one so basically that's why it's such a beautiful masterpiece. Like almost all of us read this book that we decided to make it as our 'book of the month'.

Here's a little bit of the taste of blood of the book :

In an abandoned house in the Lake District, a cupboard door opens into a playroom. Buried in dust is a collection of children's books in which the names of characters have been savagely crossed out. Here three children played a make believe game, sacrificing their dreams and wishes to make what they believed come true. But the game was never finished and in the woods behind the house something waits, hungry for the only food it knows. Now a new family has come to the house. Soon they will discover themselves in the game. But they do not know the rules. And they are the pawns, not the players ...A story with the terror and suspense of The Blair Witch Project.

Now, I am kindly enough to add 'things-to-do-during-holiday' in this post. Hope no one's moods are going to be ruin after reading this particular paragaraph. I mean come one, si Syaf ane, sibuk tah ia jua kan nyuruh kami buat homework. Oi, it's okay lah. It's for our own good.

Mathematics - Do 1st asst test corrections. The one that you got wrong.
English - Do loads of book-reading.
Malay - Finish all your delayed-homework like Sajak.
Biology - Do the 'first term biology homework' . Take note of the instructions!
P.O.A - Organize your files and do worksheets' corrections.
Physics - Do the Holiday revision paper (10 pages) **as for this one, I seriously need help yaw!**
Chemistry - Reread notes (just to make sure you're aware of the latest topic we're currently studying about)
Economics - MCQs and structured questions on Labour and wages
Geography -
History -
Computer -
Add Maths -
BGIC students - write a 100-300 words regarding to all the given questions which you can find it form Mr. J's blog

To those missing links, please add it. Hehe. I don't know wah. Last but not least and yet, the most important thing, do not forget to revise Biology; Cells, movement of substances and Reproduction in Animals. It's for the test after the school reopen.

Oh yeah. I looked through youknowwhoismyhusbandright but I'm going to tell you who anyway, Mister Taylor Daniel Lautner 's pictures during the New Moon set. In the book, SM mentioned that Jacob Black cut his hair in which I expect Taylor Lautner to just use his own hair instead of wearing the wig. But then again, as you can see at below picture, his hair is gel-ed by means, he is still using a wig or something. So, let's hope for the best. Go NEW MOON!

Lat but not least, you know the book 'secret dreamworld of a shopaholic' ? the one that I think not most of us read; the movie premiere is going to be the 26th. I'm coming... So... Anyone feels like having a cup of coffee with me? Although in this case, I never drink coffee. Haha

okay peeps, this is the list of homework for the 28th February. BGIC girls might find this helpful in keeping up with thier studies.

we had physics first thing in the morning we copied some notes.
biology's next, teacher was not in class. so yeah no worries you're not missing anything for biology.
moving on with economics, we did some correction with our previous homework then we did some question practice on the notes. that's on page 6. for computer and geography students(any historians?). you can just ask your friends ah. i didn't get a chance to ask them you know(sorry)
then we had malay after break, again we copied some notes on sajak. we have sajak homework to finish off.
oh yes, we didn't have MIB so yeah you're not missing anything. chemistry, we were just reviewing back the test for cations and anions in a concept map form. in case you want to have a look at the concept map as a revision (macam si banar haha) it's on page 195 in the chemistry textbook.

that's all for saturday, sorry for the late update guys i know you've been dying to do homework(right~)

Sorry for the late post, but as the title above says; better late than never!

The library is freakin cool, the cafeteria is so Forks High School-ish and the lecture hall is awesome. HAHA the tour guides were very nice and friendly and one of them was a stprian! So guy, UBD might be in our future. Amin.

Wow, it's seems like yesterday when we've been under the sun, march-passing infront of His Majesty, waving the flags with the green slash on our shoulders and the pass-tags hanging around our necks and all. No, that was last year! Now, coming to the 'Kedewasaan Negara' topic. I have to admit that i knew very little of this year's theme. Some teachers say this and the poster says that. (So, authors, if you want to edit this post, please do, add some stuff on this thingy cause i'm abviously not good at this. HAH)

First of all, I would like to apologize for not updating this blog for 2 weeks. I’ve been busy with you-know-what which keeps pouring in everyday, HOMEWORK! So this post is gonna be longg~

Anyway as you’ve noticed, I’ve put up our Book of the Month, Person of the Month, Movie of the Month and Song of the Month for the month of February!

Song of the Month- School 10am and 12.30noon bell. ("teng te-de deng teng de-de deng" LOL)

I initially planned to create voting sheets for these “something-of-the-month” BUT, (yes there is a good reason) it’s difficult to actually choose one thing for each category. I will try to do it for next month as long as the class is up for it. I mean, what’s the point of setting this up if half of thinks its bogus right? So I need enthusiasms from the whole class. If mizah, pek and I are the one who choose these things for each month then it’ll be mizah, pek and dinn’s blog not 5B’s blog. It’s not too much to ask really, you just have to vote for one of the nominees for each category.

Moving on to the next thing; I’ve created a web album for the class using the class email that I’ve just created. fantastictwentysix@gmail.com. To those of you who wanted to post anything on this blog, you can use that email to sign in. You can ask me the password at school. I’m still going to put pictures on this blog, of course but as you know, kitani ani suka begambar, HAHA so there’s like a lot of pictures. As you all already now, Mr. Jason has set up this 'friendly' competition for 5B, 5D and 5F. We basically have to read as much as we can this week. The winner will be the class with the most students who read 200 pages in week 5. I think. The winning class gets to watch a movie in the multimedia room (or SRR). Right, WE HAVE TO WIN. seriously. If you have trouble finding good books, you can borrow books from the library or from anyone or from me. Harry Potter, where rainbows end, ps i love you, thanks for the memories, a child called it, shopaholics, a walk to remember are some of the great books that you'll enjoy. 5B: The Fantastic 26
On the other hand, 5B has almost full participation. Every student in the class likes reading. Week in and week out, this class is the most consistent when it comes to reading and to handing in their reading logs. Rabiatul is the most consistent point getter on the team but there are a number of other big contributors here. The problem is that the class says they are very busy these days and don't generally read as many pages as they would like. Can they find the time they need and make sure that everyone completes and hands in their reading logs? Will Majidah, Zafirah, Dk Haziqah, and Nadiah continue to read at an alarming pace? What about the big 2008 readers (you know who you are)? This class is huge when it comes to teamwork (they even have their own blog on the net - wow) and might just win it all. Watch out. If this class gets motivated, they can move mountains.

so yeah. now i can log in to this fantastic page and write about my fantastic thoughts about my 2009 class. xp

from my point of view: there are 5 groups altogether in the classroom. theres the 9, theres the one including syiqin and her friends, theres the yellow ones, theres us yang random and theres mizah and her friends. hehe

hmm.. for now, let me start with my point outs about 4B (2008) and 5B this year.

i suka the decorations, the behaviour, the spirit, the whatever. pasal its so welcoming. banyak class lain jeles of ours, they say ours is like a family. which is true. and i suppose thats why we'r fantastic. rite yeah? :)

but yelah. as u have put it, nada yang perfect. misunderstanding happened. :) but straight away kena solved. its fun, having all the cheers. but its more adventurous having both ups and downs. no?

last year was quite original. we were being ourselves (at least i think we do). goody-goody, rajin, loud, laughing laughing, crazy, friendly, lawa and other things. :) but this year.. wow! the efforts, the energy, the spirit, the happy-go-lucky attitude. its just so WOW! B for Brilliant no? :D

but ohwell. i hope this comment wont affect ur being sincere. => proud proud jua, but sedar diri always girls. :)

i so want to express more on this blog about the class, the teachers, and u girls. but yelah. ngaleh~ hehe so im gona stop here. but u should know, this class is the BEST ive ever had. its true, not lying ziqqy. hehe cheers!

Girls, as you all DON'T know, we (economist) had spent our almost-half-an-hour lunch time to continue decorating our class. I will give (contributed by Mizah) a 12 inch of a pink ribbon to each of you. That pink ribbon MUST be attach to a colored paper sizing about a half of the A4 paper. The purpose is for us to know you more and nevertheless, it makes our classroom more cheerful

Oh, about Peterpan In Scarlet. We were approached by Mr. Jason this morning and he made us to turn hysterical when he said 'oh girls, I have a very good news about the signature'.
---- As you all know (or I guess not all), Hudiya realized that one of the Peterpan book was signed by the author (or so you wanna call it) and we thought it was probably something to do with naughty girls pretending to be the author and signed it literally. BUT this morning, Mr. jason told us that the author herself emailed her (YES, I know!!) and explained the whole thing (which I won't dare to mention because this secret lies between Mr. J, the author and us; the F26). Well, to add things up, 'that' signature is actually HERS. awesome isn't it!! oh well.

hey everyone!

So, today we did the three things above and we had a blast! Right guys? Well, at least I did! Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for decorating the class in the afternoon, especially those who worked really hard, yang bepaluh 5 liter, you know who you are. : ) I felt guilty watching you guys that i stopped taking pictures and tried to do something, though i started taking pictures again after that. HAHA Even though we haven't finish polishing the whole thing yet, we did absolutely great!

Anyway, these are some of the pictures taken this afternoon during our 'decorating-class' session. I took the pictures using my webcam laptop, so it's a bit blurry and well, as you already know, webcams are designed for videoconferencing on the web. To add to the list, unlike Deeya, i'm horrible in photography.

We've been intoduced to this awesome book in English class today; Peter Pan in Starlet by Geraldine McCoughrean. This book is definately one of the nominees for our book of the month. If you see the book anywhere in brunei, please tell the whole class because i'm sure most of us are craving for the book. Everything about the book invites us in; the feel of the pages, the font, the cover, even the smell, as if the book need any of that, as if the amzing storyline isn't enough. I don't know if you've noticed but there's this quote at the beginning of the book, just before the first chapter and i really like it. Though i can't remember the exact words. I think i'm going to put it on here later.

Hello everybodeh!

As most of you already know, Barack H. Obama is now President Barack H. Obama! Last night the first African-American president sworn the oath of office with the whole world as the witness. It's a new day for Americans and the happiness and celebration is spreading all around the globe. Why should we care about the American president? Because America is the most influential country on Earth, it's as simple as that. Plus, the new president is way better than George Bush. And, change is yet to come to America which will effect the rest of the world.

President Obama brought a new view of politics that motivated all people, young and old, American or not, black, white or Asian. He is a man of absolute distinction. An inspirational man whose discipline, humbleness, strength of leadership and determination to succeed should be taken as an example for us. yes, an example for you.

We will be starting our book of the month, song of the month, movie of the month and person of the month in February and President Barack Obama is one of the nominee of the person of the month. If want to add nominee for our book,song,movie and person of the month, do not hesitate to speak out. I'll try to talk about it with the whole class tomorrow, if we have time, but we have to choose a book, a song, a movie and a person before the end of January because we need some... stuff in this blog.

Mizah here updating the blog! Actually I'm kinda bored that's why I'm doing this xD.

So, this is the second post and i'm just going to clear things up here. :)

As Syaff had already stated in the first post, this is a web blog/web diary/website/blog of Sekolah Tinggi Perempuan Raja Isteri's MA5B 2009. We've been planning to create a blog for our class since last year and as this is our final year together at Stpri, we decided to create one. This blog simply contains our thoughts, events going on the school, notes, pictures and most probably, crap. Please don't hesitate to tell the current admin (S. Kharin, R. Buntar & Mizah) if you are offended in any kind of way of our posts, statements or any other content in this blog. We will definitely remove them immediately.

Our blog is just settling down and is still under construction, so please forgive us for any errors occurring currently. We will try to stabilize this blog as soon as we can. To my fellow classmates, do submit your emails to me if you wish to be one of the authors. Feel free to speak out ideas and thoughts to improve our blog.So far, we are planning to put random things, such as reminders, book of the month, movie of the month, song of the month and person of the month. A 5B logo will be created soon, most probably by Nadhirah, artist of the class. Hey, sometimes, exaggeration is good for you.

Authors should put their name(s) on top of each post to avoid confusions to readers. Authors will be using both English and Malay, of course and since we are human ~~and not flawless vampires,~~we no have perfect English neither do we have bahasa melayu yang luar biasa, so any grammatical or spelling errors is not to be laughed at. Pictures posted should be credited to those who took them and we will try to minimize the level of lameness in any part of this blog, but if you still think its lame, screw you.

ABOUT US :

The Fantastic Twenty Six (F26) is simply a group of 26 fantastic girls from Raja Isteri Girls’ High’s MA5B ’09. We've been in the same class for a year and we are currently on our last year at Raja Isteri Girls’ High. We will be sitting for ‘O’ Level Exam (June and November) and are working awfully hard for it.

Title significance
‘Fantastic TwentySix’ is derived from the superheroes movies/comic books, The Fantastic Four. We decided to settle with this title because of two reasons; first, it rhymes and second, we’re fantastic.

Birth of ze blog
Since 2008, when we were in MA4B, some of us were thinking of creating a website/blog for the class. To share thoughts, to record a part of our activities and memories at school, description of events and mostly, to just have fun with it,though we didn’t start one then, most probably because of the lack of ‘bond’ between us. Thus, this year, after we’ve befriend each other and became closer than ever, we decided to create one as this is our final year together in Raja Isteri Girls’ High. This blog merely contains our thoughts, events going around us at school, notes, pictures, reminders, birthdays, congratulations, common interests such as movies, books, songs and more.

History
Before 2008, most members of the Fantastic TwentySix didn’t know each other that well as we are now, because we came from different classes beforehand. But, as the days gone by, somewhere between National Day march pass and End of year activities, we started to befriend each other, started to had the courage to tagur ‘eh tudung mu bida’ or ‘eh gigi mu belada’ or even ‘antam tah kau *sticks tongue out*’. We’ve been situated at a less-than-disappointing classroom when we were in form MA4B, though it grew on us overtime. This year, we’ve been given a more spacious classroom and luckily, it's strategically located. (Though it does have its disadvantages, nothing’s perfect) Originally, we had 26 members and Fathima left us and there were 25 of us. Recently, Dila joined us to complete the circle.
